A Focused Service

Property Screening.

Remote desktop analysis using open-source data and the client's stated objectives. For landowners considering acquisition, agents scoping client properties, and pre-planning inquiries where a full engagement is not yet warranted.

The Analysis

What the Data Shows Before Anyone Walks the Ground.

Property Screening draws on publicly available data sources to build a preliminary read on a specific property. Copernicus satellite imagery for recent land cover and vegetation patterns. The NRCS Web Soil Survey for soil map units, drainage classes, and productivity ratings. Ecological Site Descriptions for the reference community potential. Combined with a client intake questionnaire that captures objectives, constraints, and the questions the analysis is meant to answer.

The deliverable is a written analysis report and reference maps, scoped to what the client actually needs to know. Every Property Screening is different because every property and every question is different. Some are used to inform an acquisition decision. Some are used to evaluate a property before committing to a full engagement. Some are used to identify whether cost-share program eligibility is worth pursuing.

Property Screening is remote work — no site visit, no drone flight. It is what the desk can tell you before the boots hit the ground.
